ABOUT THE COURSE:
The Achieving Quality Imaging Initial Training in Mammography seminar is a comprehensive 3 ½ day course that covers all aspects pertaining to initial mammography training for radiologic technologists interested in crossing over into mammography.
The course is designed to provide attendees with the initial training necessary to fulfill the requirements set forth by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), and is an excellent resource for technologists intending to take either, the ARRT or, the California the Mammography Registry in the near future.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Any radiologic technologist who is looking to meet the requirements set forth by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) for initial training in mammography. Our comprehensive initial mammography training program is approved by American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and will satisfy 29 of the required 40 Category A credit hours needed to fulfill the initial training in mammography requirements set forth for a radiologic technologist. With the exception of California, all radiologist technologists will receive 12.5 credits toward the 40 required by performing 25 supervised mammograms in the presence of a qualified mammographer. Therefore, you will meet the MQSA training requirements for mammography by attending our course and performing 25 supervised mammograms.
If you are from California and need all 40 continuing education hours in order to take the California Mammography Registry, we can provide the additional 11 hours in take home studies in addition to the 29 hour course to bring your total credits to 40.

COURSE COST:
$595 - If paid in full at least 30 days prior to the seminar
$650 - If payment is made within 30 days of the seminar
CANCELLATION POLICY:
To receive a refund, requests must be postmarked fourteen days prior to the first day of the seminar. Cancellations postmarked less than fourteen days prior to the first day of the course will receive credit (minus a $50.00 administration fee) toward another seminar conducted by Achieving Quality Imaging.
Refunds will NOT be granted for no shows.
COURSE CREDIT:
This course has been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 29 hours of Category A credit in initial mammography training requirements. Attendees must attend the entire conference to earn the 29 hours of Category A credit.
