About the 25 Supervised Mammograms
As a requirement of the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), all radiologic technologists must perform 25 supervised mammograms in addition to the required didactic credit hours.
AQI/MTMI has established a program where attendees may perform 25 supervised clinical exams to meet the MQSA requirement. In order to be eligible for this option, attendees are required to complete the Initial Mammography Training courses through AQI/MTMI. This is required by our partnering mammography facilities.
AQI/MTMI has partnered with medical facilities in Las Vegas, NV, Tampa, FL, Grand Rapids, MI, East Rutherford, NJ, and Milwaukee, WI where you may be able to perform your 25 supervised mammograms if you are in need and meet certain qualifications.
Spots are limited. You must call to speak with a representative in order to find out if you qualify and if there is availability.
Facility Requirements for Performing 25 Supervised Mammograms
Availability is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Depending on the facility, requirements may include:
- Drug Screening & Background Check
- Proof of HPPA training
- At Least 1 Year Radiologic Technologist Experience – Required in Vegas Only

$425 - You must have attended an AQI/MTMI Initial Training in Mammography Course and successfully completed the positioning workshop within the last 90 days.
Registration for the AQI/MTMI 25 Supervised Mammograms Clinicals may only be done by phone.
A $100 non-refundable deposit must be made to hold your spot.

Reservation deposits are non-refundable. To receive a partial refund (clinical cost minus $100 reservation fee), cancellation must occur prior to the first day of the clinical. Final payment must be received prior to the start of your clinical training.
Refunds will NOT be granted for no shows.
