Duluth Breast Imaging Conference
About the Course
The Achieving Quality Imaging 2012 Duluth Breast Imaging Conference is a comprehensive 2 day continuing education conference that covers aspects pertaining to breast imaging for radiologic technologists, radiologists, and administrators.
The Friday program will be a whirlwind tour of the changing face of breast imaging including Tomosynthesis, BSGI, PEM, whole-breast ultrasound, elastography, and 3T MRI, concluding with a look at the ever-increasing clinical breast imaging roles shared by technologists and radiologists alike, and how these roles are vital to the very survival of our profession.
The Saturday program will be a presentation of real-world cases utilizing Breast Ultrasound, Breast MRI and Image Guided Biopsy. You will be taken through the entire case starting with the patient history and following each case through the screening and diagnostic workup to the surgical pathology. In the process, you will learn much about breast anatomy, triangulation techniques used to localize lesions, histology and benign and malignant breast disease.
